It is located in north-west Turkey and in the south-eastern part of the Marmara region. It is surrounded by the Marmara Sea to the north and the west. Kogayli is on the east, and Bursa is on the south. It is 847 kilometers. The climate is characterized by a diversity of the Mediterranean and Black Sea climate, hot and dry in summer and warm and rainy in winter.
The region dates back to 1200 BC and was followed by several civilizations and inhabited by the Hittites, the Romans and the Ottomans.
Yalova became a state in 1995 AD and has 6 cities and 14 towns.
It is rich in forests and green areas and is spread in its forests beech trees, oak, neer , cranberries, chestnuts and hymns. There are many archaeological and tourist sites in this area,
• The Open Air Museum was established in 2003 and includes Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman monuments as well as examples of works from different parts of Yalova.
• Ataturk's cottage was built in 1929 in just 38 days. The palace hosted the Shah of Iran as the first foreign man to enter the palace after it was built. It is made of wood and has two floors, three honorary rooms and eleven rooms and later turned into a museum.
• Euroin Kushk, known as the Walking Cottage: Located on the coast of the town of Yalova, built in 1930 by order of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk in the Ottoman style and requested to be located next to the Sycamore tree.
This cottage has a story that the branch of the tree fell over the roof of the house, one of the staff asked permission to cut this branch, but Ataturk refused and ordered to move the house. and indeed, it was moved to a distance of 4.80 meters without damaging the tree. So that, it was called the mobile home.
In 2006, the municipality of Yalova opened it as an archaeological museum that receives hundreds of visitors.
• The Mosque of Hercegzadeh Ahmed Pasha dates back to the Ottoman period.

• The Courchonlo bath was named after it was covered with lead and built 16 years ago by the Byzantine Empire. The bathroom, which was buried in the earth due to disasters and wars, was repaired by order of the Ottoman Sultan Abdulhamid.
Thermals or hot springs
Located in 12 kilometers far from Yalova. It emerged after the great earthquake in 2000 BC and the first to build the bath of King Constantine. During the reign of Sultan Abdul Hamid, these springs gained importance and took their final form during the Ataturk era.
They are characterized by a group of rare trees,39 kind of Evergreen trees , 25 species of shrubs and 18 species of different plants.
The Sodoshan Waterfall is located between the folds of the Samanli Mountains and surrounded by green plants and trees.
As well as four hot springs, namely the fountain of the stomach and the spring of the breath and the fountain of the eye, as well as another fountain called the fountain of the feet and it is said that these springs help in healing of neurological, skin, digestive, urinary and rheumatism.
There are also swimming pools and bathes within the thermal and these springs are managed by the Ministry of Tourism.
Erikli Resort: Located on the outskirts of the state of Yalova, near the waterfall of Sodoshan, and features by a charming nature, surrounded by forests from each side, and two lakes, one is larger than the other.
